This restaurant has great fish, great view.
St Georges is a small fishing cove, at the western end of the island, not far from the Akamas peninsula. It can be a little awkward to get to by public transport, however worth the effort by car/buggy or motorbike. A very traditional Cypriot taverna, the restaurant itself is typical of it’s food, simple, basic, but very well done.
The menu consists of a variety of fish, with the option of grilled meat dishes, salad, dips etc.
On our visit we tried the salmon, swordfish and sardines, all were excellent.
The service was good, the staff friendly, but the view is superb and the real draw for this taverna.
